Sugar Bowl at the Superdome
The Sugar Bowl is played at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Superdome is the most popular venue for a major bowl game because fans love to come to New Orleans for big events. It has hosted National Championship Games, Super Bowls and Finals Fours. The Superdome holds over 73,000 college football fans, so with so many tickets we break down the seating levels below to help you choose where to sit.
100 Level
This is the Plaza and the sections in the corners of the end zone typically start a little further away from the field. Sections 141-143 and 113-115 are considered the best tickets in Caesars Superdome. The endzone sections at the Sugar Bowl also offer a nice view of the field. Section 127 is excellent spot to sit for the money, but be aware that rows 13+ in that section will be underneath the overhang so it is loud. The home sideline is along sections 139-145. Because the Superdome is so large, we recommend seats in the 100-level in order to have the best view of the action on the field.
200 & 300 Level
The sections in the Endzone are called Loge seating and then Club seating along the sidelines. The 200-level seats offer a very good view of the field. There are only four rows in each 200 level section. The 300-level also rings the field including Sections 301-348.
400, 500 & 600 Level
The upper-levels at the Superdome include these three levels. The 600-level or Terrace seating is the upper deck of Caesars Superdome and offers the cheapest seats in the building. The rows in the 600-level typically start with row 7 and run through row 36. Fans looking for cheap tickets will want to consider seats in this area. The 500-level sections sit just below this level and 400-level on two of sides of the stadium below that. The view from the upper-level is fair, but it is still a fun place to sit as you are inside the building. That said, if you are concerned with your ability to see the action on the field then you should opt to sit down in lower-level.
