Sun Bowl at Sun Bowl Stadium
Sun Bowl Stadium is located in the heart of the University of Texas-El Paso campus and is snuggled into the foothills of the Franklin Mountains. The stadium has a rich heritage and has undergone many updates since originally opening. They have increased the capacity to 52,000, as well as comfort for spectators and the quality of the field surface.
West Sideline
This area is comprised of sections 1-9. Sections 5 through 9 are 67 rows deep while sections 1 to 4 have 65 rows. The most popular sections are 4 through 6 as they are close to the visiting sideline and provide close proximity to the 50-yard line. There is handicap access behind sections 1 through 4.
East Sideline
This area is comprised of sections 18-26. All sections are 84 rows deep with rows 70-84 named the “Sun Seats”. The most sought-after sections are 21 through 23 as they are close to the home sideline and provide close proximity to the 50-yard line.
North End Zone
This area is comprised of sections 10-17. All sections are 49 rows deep. These are the perfect sections for great views of high flying touchdown passes as well as the chance to be part of an end zone celebration or two. Sections 12 through 14 are in the center of the end zone and provide the widest view.
Premium Seating
The Captain's Club is located on the east side of the Sun Bowl and provides a spectacular view of the entire field and boasts two bars and catering. Bonus, if you have tickets to the Captain's Club you also get reserved parking, which is close to the stadium.
