The Cedar Park Center is one of the premier arenas in Central Texas. Located in Cedar Park, just northwest of Austin, the Cedar Park Center has been open since September 25th 2009. Depending on the type of event, the Cedar Park Center can seat between 6,000 and 8,700 spectators at a single time. The Cedar Park Center is the permanent home of the Texas Stars hockey team in the American Hockey League. It is also the home of the Austin Spurs in the NBA’s Developmental League (D-League). The UT Hockey club team also plays their home games at the Cedar Park Center.
Many of the top concerts in the Austin area come to the Cedar Park Center. Notable artists like the George Strait, Ghostland Observatory, Artic Monkey’s, Bastille, and many more have performed at the Cedar Park Center. In 2011, the Cedar Park Center hosted a StrikeForce MMA event called the ShoMMA 14, which was one of the first televised MMA events to be contested in the Central Texas area. The arena is also known for many community engagements such as high school graduations, and the Austin Gun Show. Cedar Park Center Tickets are always in high demand and it continues to be one of the top venues in the Central Texas area.
