Atlanta Ticket Information

One of the most iconic cities in the south, Atlanta has a culture all its own. A typical southeastern, summers are hot and humid, while winters are relatively cooler and average 45-55 degree days. Thanks to a beautiful skyline, a rich history and a diverse cultural background, the capital of Georgia is a must see for anybody looking for a true southern experience. That experience doesn’t stop at the atmosphere and hospitality—Atlanta is also a hotbed of sports. There’s football, music, theatre and everything in between in the city of over five million people.

Sports in Atlanta

There are three major professional sports teams in Atlanta: the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Hawks and the Atlanta Braves. There’s a lot to see in Atlanta when it comes to sports, as the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets of the ACC are also in the city. There is also the Atlanta Dream of the WNBA.

Concerts in Atlanta

From Philips Arena to the Cobb Energy PAC, there are lots of great venues in the Atlanta area that provide Georgians and visitors the entertainment a big city deserves. From music’s best acts at the Fox Theatre to plays at the Variety Playhouse, there’s tons to do on any given night in the city.

Spring in Atlanta

Spring in Atlanta usually means one thing: Braves baseball! The Atlanta Braves have been one of the most successful teams in the National League over the last 20 years, and the city loves its baseball. Get to Turner Field and do the tomahawk chop and experience what baseball in the south is really like. The Hawks are ending their season at this point, so if they’re in the playoff chase, Philips Arena is definitely a good place to be on game night.

In April, Atlanta hosts the Dogwood Festival at Piedmont Park that always features a good headline band, and the Atlanta Food and Wine Festival is also not to be missed. If you want to get to the city before it becomes Hotlanta, this is the time to do it.
