A trip to Vegas wouldn't be complete without going down the famous Las Vegas Strip. Summer in Las Vegas
The summer months are extremely hot and reach 100 degrees, many hotels in the heart of Las Vegas open their pools for some of the most exciting parties. Additionally, the city has hosted its home to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, which is the venue for the NASCAR's annual Sprint Cup Series and Xfinity Series for stock car racing during August and September.
Fall in Las Vegas
The UNLV Rebels basketball team gets up and running at the Thomas and Mack Center in the fall and into the winter. The Rebels games are the most exciting when they play rival teams: Nevada Wolf Pack and SDSU Aztecs. The Thomas and Mack Center also hosts boxing and WWE events in the fall with heavy hitters like Manny Pacquiao, who always brings a lot of attention.

Winter in Las Vegas
The city is also home to a relatively long-running post-season college game, the Las Vegas Bowl. This game has been played at Sam Boyd Stadium since the early '90s and attracts some of the biggest teams in the NCAA including BYU, California and Arizona.
