Los Angeles Ticket Information

It's known by a lot of different names like Tinsel Town and the City of Angels. But one thing is for sure: there's no city out there quite like Los Angeles. The bustling metropolis of the entertainment industry, L.A. is certainly not at a loss for things to do. With innumerable options in terms of music, sports and culture, the city will leave vacationers feeling spent by the time their visit is over. Although technically in a desert, the dry air is cooled by being located next to the ocean. While summer days can occasionally rise above 100 degrees, most of the temps range in the 70s.

Sports in Los Angeles

Los Angeles has plenty to offer when it comes to sports with seven pro sports teams in the city and surrounding areas: Los Angeles Angels, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Galaxy, Los Angeles Kings, Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Rams, plus college football and basketball teams from the UCLA Bruins and USC Trojans. There’s always a team or two in season no matter when you’re in Los Angeles, so get your Los Angeles sports tickets from the above listings and see what fandom in Los Angeles is all about.

Concerts in Los Angeles

Finally, a trip to LA wouldn’t be complete without a drive or walk down the Sunset Strip. The famous street is rife with venues, including the House of Blues and the Roxbury Theatre–a historically hip hangout that has hosted the likes of Neil Young, John Lennon and Alice Cooper. The home of such classic rock luminaries should be a classically rocking way to end your time in the City of Angels. As a hub for the biggest celebrities, all the biggest tours stop in the city.

Spring in Los Angeles

The city is home to two baseball teams, the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, the latter of which won the World Series in 2002. When spring comes around the Dodgers and Angels start their season in April. The Dodgers have called Dodger Stadium home since 1962, making it one of the most iconic parks in the MLB, and its more than 56,000 capacity makes it the largest in terms of potential audience.

Winter in Los Angeles

Winter means basketball and hockey, and Los Angeles has both. As for basketball, L.A. is home to one of the most famous franchises in the sports, the Los Angeles Lakers, who won five NBA titles between 2000 and 2010. The Lakers also share their home, the Staples Center, with the Clippers who, while not as decorated as their cross-city rivals, still put on an exciting show. Two NHL teams also play in L.A., with the Los Angeles Kings calling the Staples Center home as well, and the Anaheim Ducks playing at the nearby Honda Center. A big event in Los Angeles that brings national attention in January is when the Rose Bowl is played between a Big Ten and Pac-12 college football team for one of the most exciting bowl games each season.
