The homestate LSU Tigers are the other big fan favorite in New Orleans; and even though they play their home games 80 miles away in Baton Rouge, a big LSU game feels like a home game when you are in New Orleans.

New Orleans is also host city for the best bowl game in college football, the Sugar Bowl. New Orleans, because of its unique culture and never-ending party, is always at the top of the list of cities to host major sporting events. The Superdome is a regular host for the Final Four, Super Bowl and SEC Tournament. It also hosted the College Football National Championship and many other big events.
