New York Sports
There are nine major pro sports teams in the New York City and the surrounding areas, including: New York Yankees, New York Mets, New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets, New York Jets, New York Giants, New York Rangers, New York Islanders, New York Red Bulls. The New York City area has been the host to every single big-time event you can think of, including the NBA Finals, World Series and the Super Bowl. There is also the uber-popular US Open.
NYC 2023 Concerts
From Manhattan to Brooklyn to Staten Island, there are concert venues of all sizes for fans to jam out to their favorite artists. Every big concert tour will come through New York City, so check out the listings before you travel, because everyone else will be. There are also lots of tours coming through the city so check out what’s happening at Madison Square Garden, the Barclays Center, Terminal 5 or the Hammerstein Ballroom.
Broadway Theater
New York City is the epicenter of theater and Broadway is the heart of NYC theater. There are iconic shows playing nearly ever day on Broadway; whether you are wanting to see Hamilton, The Lion King, Phantom of the Opera or any of the other top shows.
NYC Events
New York City has so many things going on that we could never mention them all, but a few more worth talking about are: the US Open Tennis Tournament. At Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, the US Open is one of the top sporting events in the world. Around the holidays, we recommend seeing the classic Radio City Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall. While you are checking iconic venues make sure you take in a show at the Kennedy Center.
