The city is home to the Orlando Magic of the NBA. The team has enjoyed a loyal following since they began playing in the 1989, and play their home games at the Amway Center. The city also plays host to college football bowl games, hosting the Camping World Bowl, the Citrus Bowl and the Cure Bowl. The Arnold Palmer Invitational is one of the most prestigious golf tournaments on the PGA Tour and it takes place in Orlando each Spring at the Bay Hill Club.

Along with sports and Disney World, Orlando is also home to many music venues that host some of the top touring acts in the country. Some of the most popular Orlando music venues are Hard Rock Live, House of Blues, CFE Arena, Back Booth and The Social. Downtown Disney is also known for hosting some of the top theatre productions in the country, including Cirque Du Soleil. One of the top music venues in Orlando is the House of Blues, which is located in Downtown Disney. The venue has a 1,500 capacity for concerts and allows fans to see some of the biggest national touring artists up close.
