Big 12 Basketball Tournament Previews
2014 Big 12 Men's Basketball Tournament Preview:
The Big 12 is looking its strongest from top to bottom that it has in a long time, with Baylor, Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Iowa State all with one loss or less as we head into the holidays. Texas had a big win in Chappell Hill over North Carolina, while Iowa State beat #7 Michigan in November. Outside of Kansas, the Big 12 isn’t a traditional basketball conference, but they’re looking like a force in 2014. The Big 12 tournament could be a heavyweight battle by the time March rolls around.
2013 Big 12 Men's Basketball Tournament Preview:
As if going into the tournament at #1 and #2 was not enough both Kansas teams will have the extra advantage of playing in a 2013 Big 12 Tournament just miles away from their home towns in Kansas City's Sprint Center. Kansas seems to be the favorite year after year in the tournament and with Missouri out of the Big 12 picture the Jayhawks could continue to extend their reign on top. However, Kansas State has been itching to get back to the Championship since their only other appearance in 2010 and they have the squad to bring home the hardware this year.
For TCU, Texas Tech, Texas, and West Virginia getting past the first round becomes only the beginning of their hurdles as the two Kansas teams will be waiting on the other side. Though Texas struggled early in the season the return of Kabongo proved to add an extra step to their game that could come in handy as they maneuver through the bracket. Oklahoma State will provide some unsettling pressure as they remain on the heels of Kansas State going into the tournament while the Sooners will be looking to handout an upset no matter the opponent. The Big 12 has the big ticket this year and the madness is just getting started. The Big 12 basketball tournament is far from decided and has the potential to pit some exciting finishes in 2013.

2012 Big 12 Men's Basketball Tournament Preview:
Everyone in Big 12 country is wondering who will end the Border War rivalry on top – will Kansas or Missouri win the 2012 Big 12 tournament? This year is the last year these two rivals will meet as conference foes, so the competition in Kansas City should be intense. Expect the Sprit Center to be filled up with Kansas blue and Mizzou black & gold; it should be a sight to see. That is unless Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas State or Texas does the unexpected and wins their way into the Big XII Championship Game. They all have the talent to get it done, so the Big 12 tourney is a must-see event this year.
2011 Big 12 Basketball Tournament:
The Big-12 has had a lot of time to shine this year, with both Kansas and Texas spending much of the year in the top-10 polls (and the Jayhawks even being number one for a week). But a conference tournament with four teams in the top-20 means a great slate of games will come out of it, regardless if the big dogs make it to the end of not.
