The west portion of the 2017 NCAA Tournament bracket gets underway with 1st & 2nd round games in Salt Lake City and Sacramento before wrapping up in San Jose, California at the SAP Center on March 23 & 25. Highlighted by Oregon, Oklahoma, Baylor, and Duke the west has some strong talent. That talent needs to remain strong as the winner out west is likely to run into the midwest favorites, Virginia.

The 2017 NCAA Tournament gets started in the south with 1st & 2nd round games in Orlando and Tulsa. Compiled of some familiar names surrounding March Madness as Kansas, Villanova, Arizona, and UConn all find their way back into the NCAA Tournament this year. With the additional talent in the South from Maryland, Iowa, and California the road to Louisville has never been more competitive. Winners of the 1st & 2nd rounds will head to Memphis, Tennessee on March 24 & 26 to finish off the games at the FedEx Forum.

In the 2017 Midwest portion of the NCAA Tournament, Virginia has taken the spotlight as they attempt to cap off a strong season with the NCAA Tournament title. As the 1st & 2nd rounds of the Midwest get started in Milwaukee and Indianapolis, potential candidates to end Virginia's run reside with Texas Tech, Purdue, and Iowa State. Once the Midwest arrives in Kansas City, Missouri on March 23 & 25 at the Spring Center for the regionals, Virginia's competition will likely to be coming from Michigan State, Utah, or Seton Hall.

Back at the top of the 2017 NCAA Tournaments East bracket is North Carolina and Xavier, with the Tar Heels taking over the #1 seed this year. West Virginia found early success this season and will look to continue producing wins against a field that includes Indiana, Kentucky, Wisconsin, and Notre Dame. The 1st & 2nd rounds of the East will take place in Buffalo and Greenville before moving on to the regionals in New York, NY at the Madison Square Garden on March 24 & 26.
