Men's NCAA Midwest Regional Tickets & 2024 Games
The NCAA Midwest Regional is typically among the most hotly contested in the entire NCAA Tourney. This regional consists of two rounds of the NCAA Basketball Tournament (aka: March Madness), which come in the second weekend. The first session includes two games, and is often referred to as the Sweet 16. The winners of the first two games face off in the Regional Finals, also known as the Elite 8. The winner of the NCAA Midwest Regional Final advances to participate in the NCAA Final Four. To win a National Championship in Men's College Basketball, you have to win the Final Four. To earn a berth in the Final Four, you have to make it through the Midwest Regional Semis & Final.
The NCAA Tourney Committee often places some great college basketball teams in the Midwest Regional. They do this to give those teams some games which may be closer to their campus geographically. Doing that means some great teams often play in the Midwest Region including: Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Purdue, Tennessee and Wisconsin. The Midwest Region games are played at some of the best venues in that area including: Little Caesar's Arena, Lucas Oil Stadium, T-Mobile Center in KC, and the United Center. The other regions are the East Region, South Region and West Region -- all which will have great teams and venues in their own right.
