The regional portion of the NCAA Tournament is broken up into four regions: West, South, Midwest and East. Each region is played at a different location. The 2018 regionals will send the teams in the West to the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, the South teams to Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, the Midwest teams to CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Nebraska, and the East teams to TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. The NCAA Regional games include the Sweet Sixteen, which are the regional semifinals, and the Elite Eight, which are the regional finals. Tickets may be purchased as "all session" passes to both the Sweet Sixteen (session one) and the Elite Eight (session two), or individually.
After a thrilling finish to the 2017 NCAA Tournament in Phoenix, which saw the North Carolina Tar Heels defeat the Gonzaga Bulldogs, the 2018 edition of March Madness will head to San Antonio, Texas, and The Alamodome.
