Bramlage Coliseum is an indoor multi-purpose arena on the Kansas State University Campus in Manhattan, Kansas. The arena is mainly used as the home basketball court for the KState basketball programs. The facility also houses other athletic department offices. The arena is named for Fred Bramlage, a Manhattan philanthropist who helped fund the building of the arena.
Visitors to Bramlage Coliseum will hear the deafening crowd, harkening back to former KState basketball gyms, and will also note the modern amenities and beautiful architecture that make this one of the great arenas in which to watch a college basketball game. In addition to housing the men and women's basketball teams, Bramlage Coliseum has hosted a variety of other events. Some of the concerts held at the Coliseum include Garth Brooks, AC/DC, BB King, Bob Dylan, and Dave Mathews. Speakers at Bramlage include Presidents Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush, as well as Henry Kissinger, Jesse Jackson, and Ross Perot.
Bramlage Coliseum holds 12,500 spectators for basketball games. Student seats are located behind the benches. The Bramlage Coliseum is built in a pit-like configuration giving the impression that the seats loom over the playing surface, giving every seat in the arena a good view of the action, and making visiting teams feel overwhelmed by the home support. Bramlage Coliseum provides a loud, frenzied, action-packed venue for a basketball game. Buy Bramlage Coliseum tickets and don’t miss an event at this exceptional venue.
