The Big 12 Championship game experienced great success in 2017 in its return after a seven-year hiatus. With the conference dropping to 10 teams in 2010, it decided to discontinue having a championship game and instead award the regular season winner the league title. However, the lack of a championship game hurt the conference more than it helped so the Big 12 Championship Game was revived, with a five-year deal to be played at AT&T Stadium. In its first year back, average ticket prices came in at $246 and average order sizes were over $700. After a successful return, expect ticket prices to rise in the coming years.
