Georgia Football Tickets 2023

Dawgs fans have been filling Sanford Stadium each Saturday in the Fall for years. The unbelievable success of the Georgia in recent years has made them the hottest ticket in the SEC. That demand has translated to higher ticket prices for home games in Athens. "Get in" ticket prices for a regular SEC game now often start north of $200 per ticket and bigger conference games start close to $275 a ticket. That does not mean that every ticket is expensive, as tickets for the smaller non-conference games typically cost $80-100 per ticket.

The Bulldogs most popular games are their SEC East games against Florida, Kentucky, Mizzou, South Carolina, Tennessee and Vanderbilt. UGA's other big games include their cross division rivalry games against Alabama, Auburn and Ole Miss. The Bama vs Georgia game has in particular become a game that helps to decide which teams will play in the CFP, and the Tide and Dawgs have met in the SEC Championship a few times. Georgia also has played a number of other marquee non-conference games in the regular-season including against Notre Dame, Oregon and their rivals from up the road, Georgia Tech.

The University of Georgia football team has played over 1,300 games in their program history, but Bulldogs fans continue to have high expectations. This year they expect to be competing for a spot in the SEC Championship Game and the CFP and/or a top bowl game. A dream season in Athens would be to see UGA bring home another National Championship trophy, but to do that first Georgia must secure a slot in the College Football Playoff. Fans who love Georgia football, should get to a 2023 game...and Go Dawgs!

Georgia vs Florida (The Cocktail Party)

Name the top 5 rivalries in college football and Georgia vs Florida game is sure to be high on every list. This legendary rivalry is unique in that it is a neutral site game that is played in Jacksonville, Florida - which is about 340 miles from the UGA campus in Athens. The first game in Jacksonville between Florida & Georgia was over 100 years ago in 1915. There is huge demand for Georgia Florida tickets as this game decides bragging rights between the two rival schools for the year ahead. The atmosphere at the game is way more than football, as it is an entire party weekend for Georgia fans and their rivals from Gainesville. That party weekend in Jacksonville is what created the game's nickname, The World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party.

Georgia vs Georgia Tech

Georgia's final game of the season is their annual grudge match with in-state rival Georgia Tech, which is still known by many fans as "Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate". This game has been played for decades and the winner between the Bulldogs and Yellow Jackets owns in-state bragging rights for the year to come. The Georgia vs Georgia Tech game alternates each year between Sanford Stadium in Athens and Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta.

Georgia vs Auburn

Georgia fans love playing their rivals from Auburn. This is the most-played rivalry game in Georgia's history, which is why its commonly known as the "Deep South's Oldest Rivalry". The first game was played in 1892 and it's been about as close as a century-long series can be with each team winning about half of the games. The Bulldogs and Tigers are both powerhouses of college football, thus the game often helps to decide who is playing in the SEC Championship Game, which itself plays a big role in determining who are playing in the CFP. If you want a great college football experience, then this is THE game for the hardcore Georgia (or even college football) fan to see in person as its steeped in great history and traditions.
