Georgia found the endzone first right off the bat but would loose momentum going into the half with the Gators up 14-7. That momentum stayed strong coming out of the locker room as the Gators put up 17 unanswered points to take a 31-7 lead with the fourth quarter underway. The Bulldogs would find the endzone later in the 4th, but not before Florida added another touchdown to take the win 38-20.

Todd Gurley was the big contributor for the Bulldogs, rushing for 100 yards and a TD over 17 carries, as well as catching three passes for another 87 yards and a TD. Georgia came out to a 20-0 lead, and carried that to a 23-3 deficit at the half. The Gators scored a touchdown early in the fourth-quarter to bring it to within three, but only got the ball back once more as Georgia ran the final 8 minutes off the clock with a 19-play drive to seal it.

Todd Gurley scored on a 10-yard run in the first quarter, while Caleb Sturgis hit three field goals in the leading to a 10-9 Georgia lead in the fourth quarter. Aaron Murray found Malcolm Mitchell for 45-yard touchdown with seven minutes remaining to take the 8-point lead the Dawgs defense would not give away. Gurley ended up with 141 total yards and a TD to lead all players.
