Tiger Stadium is an outdoor football stadium located on the campus of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. It is the home field of the LSU Tigers football program. The stadium is most commonly referred to as Death Valley because of the ominous environment it provides for visiting teams. The nickname stems from the crowd noise at most games - originally it was called "deaf valley" but the name has since been misunderstood and has been changed to Death Valley. Visitors to the stadium will quickly understand where the name came from. Once during a 2003 game against Auburn, the stadium noise level reached a whopping 119 decibels!

Tiger Stadium has not only been a home for the LSU football team, but it has also served as a temporary home field for the New Orleans Saints after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. Tiger Stadium has seen a number of big and exciting games, and the 2007 season has been no exception. The season saw two record-breaking crowds of more than 92,000 spectators. LSU beat the defending champion Florida Gators at home. They beat Auburn with an incredible last-second touchdown pass and lost a heartbreaker to Arkansas in triple-overtime. Tiger Stadium seemingly ensures a memorable game for the Tigers.

The 6th largest football stadium in America, Tiger Stadium provides football fans with an unforgettable experience. See an LSU game or any other event there and you'll instantly understand why fans call it Death Valley. You'll feel like you're watching a historic battle with Tiger Stadium's unique and old-school field markings and original two-pole goal posts. Faurot Field is an outdoor stadium used primarily by the Missouri Tigers football team on the University of Missouri campus in Columbia, Missouri. The stadium is commonly known as Memorial Stadium and the field is named after legendary Missouri coach Don Faurot. Faurot Field is also affectionately known as the “Zou”. Visitors to Faurot Field are generally impressed by the noise of the Missouri crowd and the way the school has gently updated their home stadium keeping its character but adding the modern amenities one expects for a top-class football program. Faurot Field at Memorial Stadium was opened in 1926 with a capacity of just 25,000. The stadium was designed with expansion in mind, however, and now boasts seating for over 68,000 and has seen crowds of more than 75,000 on a few occasions. Faurot Field is distinctive for its large white ‘M” made of whitewashed rocks behind the north end zone. Missouri’s opponents have in the past rearranged the letters to an “N” for Nebraska or “K” for Kansas as a prank, but Tiger students always managed to get the stones back in their proper places before the game time. Faurot Field has provided the Missouri Tigers with an excellent home-field advantage, most likely because of the raucousness of the crowd. The team has managed to go 6-0 as recently as 2003, and the “Zou” provides visiting teams with a tough challenge.
