Michigan Wolverines tickets are available to buy for all games, including all home games at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Michigan Stadium is known as "the Big House" and is one of the largest stadiums in college football with crowds that regularly exceed 110,000 fans. The Michigan Wolverines home bench is on the Michigan Stadium sideline along sections 20-26. The view is just as good from the other sideline - with the best views coming in sections 44, 1, and 2 (section 1 includes the tunnel that both teams use to get to the locker rooms).
The Michigan Stadium Experience
Game day is a special time to be in Ann Arbor. Start off by parking at The University golf course or Pioneer High School (both are across Stadium Boulevard from Michigan stadium) - this is the heart of Michigan tailgating, so prepare for a sea of maize and blue. Once you finish tailgating, enter the stadium and be sure to walk a lap around the concourse. While narrow and crowded (the stadium was built in 1927) there is a lot to see. The impressive displays include national championship teams, Heisman trophy winners, and All-Americans. After seeing all this it's clear why the University refers to itself as the "winningest program" in college football. Natives of the Great Lakes state will appreciate the outer columns bearing the names of Michigan's 83 counties.
Be sure to be in your seat when the home team takes the field so you can see their traditional entrance, touching the GO BLUE banner as they run onto the field to their fight song. Keep your eyes peeled during the national anthem, as the local branch of the Michigan National Guard usually provides an impressive flyover to really set the stage.
