Boone Pickens Stadium is an outdoor football stadium and the home of the Oklahoma State University Cowboys football program. Formerly known as Lewis Field, the stadium has since been named for oil businessman T. Boone Pickens, who donated $165 million to the university for the athletics program to expand its facilities. Visitors to the newly upgraded and remodeled stadium (still under construction) will be struck by its architectural continuity with the rest of the OSU campus and its modern amenities. It's truly an exceptional venue to watch a college football game.

Known originally as Lewis Field and opened in 1914, the Boone Pickens Stadium is the oldest in all the Big 12. It saw very few improvements throughout the years until the Oklahoma State Cowboy football team improved and managed to beat the archrival and perennial top 10 Oklahoma Sooners in 2001. In addition to hosting the Cowboys home football games, Boone Pickens Stadium has also been the venue for the OSU annual Orange Peel pep rally and concert.

Visiting the Boone Pickens Stadium is an impressive experience not just because of its size and renovations, but also because of the larger athletic village of which it is a part. Fans of Oklahoma State athletics will be impressed that their school has really come into its own as a Big 12 program to be reckoned with, and now they have a facility that matches their success. Buy Boone Pickens Stadium tickets and don't miss an exciting college football experience!
