2014 Purdue Football Preview:
Darrell Hazell’s inaugural season as the Boilermakers head coach was rough going. Purdue had a brutal schedule which culminated in a trip to Bloomington against arch-rival Indiana. With another year to drill his system and fundamentals into the team, Hazell and company look for a strong rebound in 2014. Sophomore quarterback Danny Etling will orchestrate an offense with much help from talented senior running backs Raheem Mostert and Akeem Hunt. The Boilermakers will also have one of the most experienced secondary’s in the Big 10, with the upperclassmen taking up the entire squad. Look for vast improvement on both sides of the ball from 2013, and for Purdue to surprise teams in a wide open Big 10. Purdue travels to South Bend in the always anticipated game against Notre Dame. Other big games will be at home against Iowa and Wisconsin and the season finale at Indiana.

2013 Purdue Football Preview:
A new era has started in Purdue with Darrell Hazell taking over as head coach after leading Kent State to a school record 11 wins in 2012. Hazell inherits a defense that returns eights starters, but they will need to play much better than they did last year. As for the offensive side of the ball, the Boilermakers will be using more of a pro-style offense this year, but they will have to decide who the starting quarterback is between senior Rob Henry, true freshman Danny Etling, and Austin Appleby. The running game will be in good hands with junior Akeem Hunt and a receiving core led by senior Gary Bush. During Hazell’s first year as head coach, Notre Dame, Nebraska, and Ohio State will travel to West Lafayette.

2011 Purdue Football Preview:
Fans of the Purdue Boilermakers could not have been happy with the team's 2010 campaign. After a promising start, Purdue stumbled to a 4-8 record and missed out on the postseason. Danny Hope will return for his third full year at the helm and will be looking to turn things around after back-to-back losing seasons.

Hope has a few things going for him on offense, but most of all he has experience. Specifically, Purdue is lucky enough to have one of the most experienced offensive lines in the Big 10, which is especially good news for quarterback Robert Marve, who is the apparent starter when the season kicks off.

As for the defense, Purdue will be led by a pair of skilled and experienced players in linebackers Joe Holland and Dwayne Beckford, both of whom had xceptional 2010 campaigns. In addition to the linebacking duo, the Boilermaker defense also features contributions from some of the most stalwart defensive linemen in the country, including Kawaan Short. However, it will be tough to make up for the departure of defensive end Ryan Kerrigan, who was drafted by the Washington Redskins.

2010 Purdue Football Preview:
More than any other team in the Big Ten, Purdue enters the season with a lot of question marks. Coach Danny Hope is in only his second year, and the Boilermakers will start their third quarterback in as many years. While that does not necessarily guarantee a dismal season, it will make it difficult to improve on 2009's 5-7 result.

Junior quarterback Robert Marve will be tasked with leading an offense that returns only four starters from a year ago. Perhaps most hit by graduation was the offensive line, as only junior Ken Plue had significant playing time last season. Luckily for Marve, he has a dynamic receiver to throw to. Senior Keith Smith caught 91 passes for 1,100 yards last year and should do much of the same this year.

The defense has a fair amount of rebuilding to do as well as the entire secondary is very inexperienced. Senior defensive end Ryan Kerrigan will be the anchor of the a squad that will need to put a significant amount of pressure on opposing quarterbacks.

After the Boilermakers open the season at Notre Dame, the schedule gets easier until they head to Ohio State and then host Wisconsin and Michigan. If they can take advantage of a weak non-conference schedule, Purdue should be able to become bowl eligible.

2009 Purdue Football Preview:
Head Coach:
 Danny Hope
A new era of Purdue Boilermaker football begins in 2009 under Head Coach Danny Hope. Hope has taken over the reins of Purdue from legendary coach Joe Tiller, who retired after the 2008 season. The transition to Hope should be an easy one for the Boilermakers as he was Associate Head Coach in 2008, previously coached there and graduated from Purdue. Boilermakers fans should be hopeful for the upcoming season that their new Head Coach can again make them a top team in the Big 10 Conference.

2008 Purdue Football Preview:
Head Coach: Joe Tiller
The Purdue Boilermakers are a tough Big Ten team coming off a solid season. The boilermakers are a program to watch as head coach Joe Tiller works to lead the team up the conference standings to another Big Ten title and a BCS bowl bid. Ross-Ade Stadium will be teeming with Boilermaker fans cheering on their team to national prominence.
