After coming off of a successful regular season and taking the Pac-12 Championship Game, the Stanford Cardinals played in the Rose Bowl on New Year’s Day against the Iowa Hawkeyes. The Cardinals dominated the bowl game with a 45-16 final score. Stanford’s high-scoring first half resulted in setting a new record in Rose Bowl history. The average ticket price was $379, an increase over the $244 average price of the 2014 Rose Bowl between Florida State Seminoles and Oregon Ducks.
