OU Baseball Tickets & 2023 Schedule
The Oklahoma Sooners started playing college baseball way back in 1898. Over their century playing they have come to be considered among the top programs in the sport. The Sooners play their home games in Norman at Dale Mitchell Park which is just minutes away from the home venue of the Big 12 Baseball Tournament, the Ballpark at Bricktown in Oklahoma City. The goal for the Sooners each season is to win enough conference games to earn a top seed in the Big 12 Tourney and a Top 8 National Seed for the postseason NCAA baseball tourney. From there, the goal is to host a Regional, Super Regionals and win their way back to the CWS. A great year for the Sooners is earn a spot in Omaha the College World Series, where they have a chance to bring home a National Title.
The Oklahoma baseball team competes in the Big 12 conference against many of the top teams in college baseball. Each season the Sooners take on Baylor, OSU, TCU, Texas and Texas Tech in the regular-season and again in the Big 12 Baseball Tournament. The Sooners biggest rivals are the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma State Cowboys, so there will be strong demand for tickets to those series anytime OU is hosting the Horns or Bedlam in Norman. Oklahoma will also draw big home crowds whenever they play national powers like Arizona, Auburn, LSU, MIchigan or Notre Dame. Long-time rivals like Oral Roberts and Wichita State also will draw a good crowd. Fans in Norman love the OU baseball team, but will also show up to support the powerhouse OU Women's softball team which has played in the WCWS more than a dozen times over the past couple of decades.
