The UT baseball team is looking strong in the 2023, as Head Coach David Pierce has the program playing at a very high-level. Texas baseball ranks right alongside the top programs in the history of college baseball; as the Horns have won numerous conference championships and national titles. Their great success has created strong demand for UT baseball tickets from fans across Central Texas. Austin is a college baseball town, so fans should expect to see huge crowds in the stands at the Disch for their baseball games. The Disch is often packed to capacity when a big opponent is in-town for a weekend series.

The Horns biggest opponents on an annual basis include Baylor, OU, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech. UT will also play a tough schedule that includes many in-state baseball rivals like Houston, Rice and Texas A&M, as well as, a host of national powerhouse teams like Alabama, Cal State Fullerton, LSU, Stanford, South Carolina and USC. The biggest crowds are typically in attendance for any games against Texas A&M as these two schools have a long history which many fans want to be a part of in-person. Horns Hosting Regionals & Super Regionals

UT plays in the postseason every season, starting with the Big 12 Baseball Tournament. Every year it is the goal of Texas baseball fans to wind up hosting a Regional and hopefully a Super Regional series. The biggest games of the season are those crowds for the NCAA Regional and Super Regional games. If the season plays out as UT wants it will end with the Horns playing in Omaha at the 2023 CWS and hopefully hoisting another National Championship trophy.

UT Baseball at UFCU Disch-Falk Field

The Horns play their home games at UFCU Disch-Falk FIeld, near downtown Austin, Texas. There are few baseball experiences as special as seeing a game at "the Disch", which has one of the most passionate crowds in college sports. Disch-Falk is an impressive stadium that holds over 7,000 fans with the many reserved seating areas and general admission seats. Beyond the outfield walls are fans who tailgate, and watch the game, on top of school buses. You will not find another atmosphere in college baseball that beats the atmosphere for college baseball in Austin.

The most popular sections at the Disch for a Horns baseball game are those Lower Infield seats in Sections 1 through 11. Sections 1, 2, 3 are directly above the Home Team Dugout while Sections 9, 10, 11 are above the Visitors Dugout. There is a screen protecting these sections, but get ready to feel like you are part of the action if you sit down low in Sections 4-8 particularly when a foul ball comes straight back into the net. The Field Level Box seats are located in these first four rows of these sections.

Above the Lower-Level Infield are Sections 101-111 which still offer an amazing view of the action. The entire infield at the Disch is covered by the roof and there is a stiff breeze so you may bring a sweatshirt to stay warm even if the sun is out. There are a variety of mixed Reserved Seating and General Admission sections down the Right Field (R1, R2, R3 & R4) and Left Field lines (L1, L2, L3, L4, L5, L6 & L7). The sight lines from these sections are still excellent but you are not sitting in the shade if you are outside the bases, so wear your hat & sunscreen on a hot day. Fans siting all the way down the left field line in Section L7 will be closest to the famous "Occupy Left Field" fan group that watches every Texas baseball home game from just beyond the outfield fence.
