Reed Arena is an indoor multi-purpose arena located on the Texas A&M University campus in College Station, Texas. It is primarily the home court of the Texas A&M Aggies basketball programs. Reed Arena holds 12,500 spectators for basketball, and can accommodate an additional 2,000 seats on the floor for concerts and other events. The arena opened in 1998 and has coincided in part with a resurgence of basketball success at Texas A&M. Visitors to Reed Arena can sense a new era of basketball at the university as they sit comfortably in this state of the art facility and watch A&M fans support their team.
While primarily used by the Texas A&M basketball teams, Reed Arena can be used for a variety of other events as well, such as concerts, trade shows, commencement ceremonies, and student events like as the annual Aggie Muster. The Aggie Muster is an annual ceremonial gathering where students remember Aggies who’ve passed away. The Reed Arena has also hosted first round games of the men’s and women’s NIT Tournaments.
As Reed Arena for the vastly improved Texas A&M basketball men’s basketball team, Reed Arena has spawned a new era of fan support as well, in the “Reed Rowdies”. This raucous student section has grown every year and makes life tough for visiting teams. The volume of the crowd and the obviously rabid level of support for the Aggie team is something you won’t forget after a visit to Reed Arena. Buy Reed Arena tickets today, and don’t miss out on the action!
Check with the Reed Arena official site for tickets. If your event is not yet sold out, then you can buy tickets directly from the Reed Arena. But also check our inventory because we will have better seats available and occasionally have tickets available below face value.
