A Day to Remember were formed in 2003. Their music is a mix of emo, hardcore, affectionally called by their fans as "pop mosh." All the members of the group are from the small town Ocala, Florida – originally, the group consisted of vocalist Jeremy McKinnon, guitarists Neil Westfall and Tom Denney, bassist Joshua Woodard, and drummer Bobby Scruggs who financed their first EP themselves. Their label debut “For Those Who Have Heart” appeared in January 2007, featuring new drummer Alex Shelnutt.

In 2005, then signed with Indianola Records for the release of their full-length album “And Their Name Was Treason”. The record was a huge success and went on to sell over 8,000 copies only through word of mouth, so a year later the guys were signed to Chicago powerhouse Victory Records. And the rest is history. Not long ago, the guys released "Bad Vibrations", their sixth studio effort that follows up 2013's "Common Courtesy". They took a lot of time off earlier and had plenty of time to re-imagine the way they write, record and mix the albums. A stand-alone single, "Paranoia", which was released before to whet fans' appetites, showed that the new album is going to be the polar opposite of their previous works. Critics already agree that the new album of A Day to Remember is their best work up to date.
