Ben Howard, English singer and songwriter, released his debut EP, Games in the Dark, in 2008, followed by his 2009 EP, These Waters, and Old Pine in 2010. Ben Howard’s major debut studio album was released in 2011, titled Every Kingdom. Shortly after, he released two more EPs, Ben Howard Live in 2011 and The Burgh Island EP in 2012. Ben Howard won the 2013 Brit Awards for Best Male Solo Artist and went on to perform at the 2013 Glastonbury Music Festival. In 2014, Ben Howard released his second studio album, I Forget Where We Were. Ben Howard has been writing music all his life. He started playing guitar at a very young age and began making up lyrics to go along to his songs. As he began to receive more local exposure for his music, Ben Howard signed to Island Records in 2011, although he has already put out a number of singles prior to signing. After singing to Island, Ben Howard released his debut studio album, Every Kingdom, which came out later in 2011 and was nominated for a 2012 Mercury Prize. For his debut studio album, Ben Howard worked alongside Chris Bond and India Bourne, whom played a number of instruments on the album including cello, keyboards, ukulele, bass, percussion, as well as contributing vocals. The two also toured with Ben Howard in support of his first album. In 2012, Ben Howard performed at a number of music festivals around the world, include South by Southwest in Austin, Texas and Bonaroo Music Festival in Manchester, Tennessee, T in the Park music festival in Scotland and Bestival 2012, Austin City Limits, and many more. After extensive touring, Ben Howard released The Burgh Island EP, produced by Chris Bond and featuring four new tracks. In 2014, Ben Howard headlined the first ever Somersault Festival in North Devon alongside Jack Johnson. Later in 2014, Ben Howard released his second studio album, I Forget Where We Were and toured extensively around the world in support of this release. In 2015, Ben Howard continued touring in support of his 2014 full length studio album, I Forget Where We Were. During Ben Howard’s 2015 tour, he performed at major music festivals as well as arenas and stadiums all over the world. Ben Howard performed songs spanning across his entire career during his 2015 tour, although the set list was heavy on songs from his 2014 album, I Forget Where We Were.
