Boy George is an English singer, songwriter, DJ, LGBT icon and fashion designer. He is the lead singer of the pop band Culture Club. Even though it's been almost four decades since Culture Club — and especially their fashionable frontman with a bright makeup— crashed the pop world, the band is still thriving on stage with bright, emotional performances. Their most prominent hits include Karma Chameleon, I'll Tumble 4 Ya and Do You Really Want to Hurt Me.
Pop-icons from the ‘80s outlasted most of their peers and they are not going to stop there. At some point, Boy George left the band to start his successful solo career. “The Crying Game,” from the movie of the same name, was his biggest U.S. hit in 1992. But after a long break, Culture Club is finally back - they're finalizing their first new LP in nearly 20 years and plan the big “Life Tour” of the USA and the UK that takes in over 50 US cities (with more to be added soon) throughout the summer and 11 UK dates in November.

Boy George, with his androgynous, sexually fluid appeal, became a new, very different kind of pop idol. This summer, he will perform both solo and with Culture Club in more than 50 cities in the US and UK. The “Life Tour” includes shows in Nashville, Verona, Pittsburgh, Boston, Morristown, Atlantic City, Northfield, Toronto, Springfield, and more. In December, Culture club will also visit Monaco and Paris. The B-52’s and Thompson Twins’ Tom Bailey will join him on US the tour, while Belinda Carlisle and again Thompson Twins’ Tom Bailey will support Boy George and Culture Cub on the UK tour.
