An American R&B trip Boyz II Men from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is composed of Nathan Morris, Wanya Morris, and Shawn Stockman. The band is best known for romantic ballads, dance hits, soulful grooves and emotional a cappella songs. They became famous in the 1990s after recording their debut album, Cooleyhighharmony, for the legendary Motown Records. The album was released in 1991, and its first single, the catchy dance track "Motownphilly," rocketed up the charts, becoming Top Five pop and number one R&B on its way to platinum sales. Their emotional ballad called "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday," a cover of a song from the film Cooley High, also hit the pop Top Five and topped the R&B chart, becoming gold in no time.
Nowadays, the band is the most commercially successful R&B group of all time. They sold ludicrous numbers of records and created three of the longest-running number one pop singles in history. This year, they will perform in a number of cities all across the US.
