Cassadee Pope is an American country-pop singer songwriter who calls West Palm Beach, FL home. She was the winner on The Voice in 2012 with team Blake (Shelton), the first female to do so, and a year later she released her album, Frame By Frame. The album made it to #9 on Billboard and #1 on Top Country Album charts and is expected to release her next album this year. Her single, “Wasting All These Tears” from the album was the first solo single from Pope to hit Gold status. Pope originally started her career with the band Hey Monday, recording two albums with, Hold On Tight and Folie à Deux. A Canadian tour is set with Dean Brody and Cassadee Pope, with dates starting in January going through February. Pope will then have solo dates through the U.S and in May, will hook up with Tim McGraw in Austin, Texas for Redfest. Pope will sing a string of her most popular songs and some covers including, “Break Your Heart,” “Easier To Lie” and the Miranda Lambert cover, “Over You.” Pope likes to include the audience in her concerts and often times takes requests. Her concerts are mostly acoustic but she does have a small backup band for her more aggressive numbers.
Top spots to catch Cassadee Pope are in her hometown of West Palm Beach, FL at the South Florida Fair on January 22, she will have 16 stops in Canada to support Brody starting at the Molson Centre in Barrie on February 5 and K-Rock in Kingston on February 8. After February, Pope will play the Bluestone in Columbus on March 15 and then will head southwest to the Las Cruces and the Country Music Festival on April 26, Austin and the Redfest on May 24, and end the tour in Duncan, BC at the Sunfest on August 3.
