An all-American country music group formed in the city of Nashville, Lady Antebellum consists of three members. They include Hillary Scott (lead vocals and background vocals), Dave Haywood (background vocals, guitarist, mandolin, piano), and Charles Kelley (background and lead vocals, guitarist). The lead singer, Hillary Scott is the daughter of Linda Davis, a former country music singer, and Kelly is the brother of pop sensation Josh Kelly. The group was formed in 2006, but they made their first debut in 2007 with ‘Never Alone’ - their first single. Right after their first performance, they received a record deal from Capitol Records Nashville, and have released five albums with the label.
Lady Antebellum's first three albums turned out to be global sensations. All three received certification for platinum and higher by RIAA.
