This Georgia country/folk band is comprised of Zac Brown, Jimmy De Martini, John Driskell Hopkins, Coy Bowles, Chris Fryar, Clay Cook and Daniel de los Reyes. After graduating from college, Brown opened a music club and restaurant featuring southern style food and music, but was later bought out by a developer, so he purchased a bus and started touring. They had commercial success with their album, The Foundation, and singles “Chicken Fired,” “Toes,” “Highway 20 Ride” and “Free” all hitting number one. One-by-one each band member has been carefully selected by Brown, with Daniel de los Reyes being added this last year. This year their album Uncaged won them a Grammy Award for Best Country Album and they are currently on tour in support of that album. Concerts are a mix of bluegrass, country and folk with strong instrumentation and Browns soulful voice. Don’t miss out; TicketCity is a great source for concert tickets!
In 2012 the Zac Brown Band toured, often touring with big headliners and often times have stolen the show. They have wooed the crowds with their covers like “The Devil Went Down To Georgia” and “Sweet Emotion,” to hits that move you from love to break-up, “As She’s Walking Away” to “Goodbye In Her Eyes,” the band keeps the crowd engaged and the non-stop two hour show going. On their own they played a near capacity crowd at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, WI., with a guest list of Sonia Leigh, Blackberry Smoke and Levi Lowery -- artists from Brown’s own record label, Southern Ground Records.
