Deep Purple is also one of the hardest touring bands on Earth and have constantly been on the road since the 1970’s. Deep Purple specifically won an award for one such tour which included 40 dates around France in 2007 which sold more than 150,000 tickets in total. Their live albums and live concert DVDs are also some of the best-selling in the world and are one of the only bands to have ever played at the Kremlin Palace in Russia for the Russian President. Deep Purple are also one of the only UK rock bans to have performed at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in 2009 in Liberec, Czech Republic. Deep Purple What Now!? World Tour
From 2013 to 2015, Deep Purple embarked upon the What Now!? World Tour in support of their 2013 studio album, What Now!? In which they played at sold out stadiums and large arenas in countries around the world. During performance on Deep Purple’s What Now!? World Tour, they performed all of the greatest hits and fan favorite songs such as “Smoke on the Mountain” and “Lalena” as well as tracks from their What Now!? album, including “Hell to Pay” and “Simple Song”.
