Disclosure is an English electronic dance music duo from England. The two borthers, Howard Lawrence and Guy Lawrence, grew up in Reigate, Surrey in the United Kingdom. In 2010, Disclosure released their debute single “Offline Dexterity”, which was an immediate sensation. They followed their debut single up with a song titled “Carnival” and “I Love… That You Know”. Although Disclosure was quickly building up a steady following, they didn’t receive national attention until their 2012 single, “Tenderly/Flow”. Later in 2012, Disclosure released their debut EP The Face,which included a popular remix of the song “Running” by Jessie Ware. This release embedded Disclosure into the summer electronic dance music festival circuit. After touring and playing music festivals in 2012, Disclosure released “Latch” with vocals by Sam Smith, which hit the number 11 position on the UK single charts. In 2013, Disclosure released a series of singles which consecutively broke the top 10 charts, including “White Noise” and “You & Me”. All of their releases were collected and released on an EP titled The Singles.
Their highly anticipated debut full length album came out in 2013, titled Settle, released on PMR Records. This debut album immediately reached the number one position on the UK Album Charts and charted high in many other countries as well. Settle was also nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Dance Album. 2013 saw the EDM duo performing at many of the biggest music festivals around the world, including Glastonbury and Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, as part of their world tour. In 2015, following another world tour, Disclosure released their second full length album, titled Caracal, featuring vocals from many big name artists such as Sam Smith, Gregory Porter, The Weeknd, Lorde, and more. Disclosure North American Tour
In 2015, Disclosure began touring in support of their 2015 released album, Caracal. Disclosure performed at many big nightclubs and major music festivals in countries all around the world as their tour carried on into 2016. During Disclosure’s 2015 live performances, they played many of their own songs, often remixing them live in front of the audience, as well as many popular electronic dance music songs from other artists.
