Fleetwood Mac is one of the most successful and beloved groups of all time. The British-American band was formed in the late 1960’s in London and has produced hit album after hit album. Fleetwood Mac has featured numerous different members over the course of the bands history, with the band reaching its highest success with members Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Christine McVie, Lindsey Buckingham, and Stevie Nicks. Other notable members of Fleetwood Mac over the years includes Peter Green, Jeremy spencer, and Bob Welch. The band released their first album (Fleetwood Mac) in 1968, and released 9 albums between 1968-1974. But it wasn’t until 1975 that Fleetwood Mac really began to hit their stride. In 1975, Fleetwood Mac released their 2nd self-titled album (sometimes referred to as the White Album), which was the first album to feature Lindsay Buckingham on guitar, and Stevie Nicks on vocals. The 1975 Fleetwood Mac album included the hit song “Landslide” which would become one of the band’s most lasting hits. Fleetwood Mac embarked on a major North American tour to promote the album, which help spread the band’s new sound to thousands of fans across the continent.

The success of 1975 propelled Fleetwood Mac to produce one of the most recognized albums of all time. In 1977, Fleetwood Mac released “Rumours,” which became a worldwide sensation, and one of the top 10 highest selling albums of all time. Rumours included hits like “Dreams,” “Never Going Back Again,” “The Chain,” and “Go Your Own Way.” The album credits Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, and Christine McVie with authorship, and the alternating tracks between Christine McVie and Stevie Nicks as lead vocalist would become one of the defining sounds of Fleetwood Mac. The Rumours Tour of 1977 would be the most expansive Fleetwood Mac tour to that point, and produced some of the highest demand Fleetwood Mac tickets of all time. Since Rumours, Fleetwood Mac has continued to produce record after record, and has become a staple touring band of their generation. In 2014, it was announced that Christine McVie would rejoin the band and the band would embark on their most anticipated tour in a decade.
