Gary Clark Jr. Tickets

Gary Clark Jr. is an American singer/guitarist and actor who focuses on blues, soul and rock and roll. He calls Austin, Texas his home and has been dubbed by Rolling Stone Magazine as “The Chosen One.” He started playing the guitar at the age of twelve and quickly had gigs around the Austin area. He has been compared to Austinite Stevie Ray Vaughn, whose brother Jimmy Vaughn has been instrumental in Clark’s success. The mayor of Austin declared May 3, 2001, Gary Clark Jr. Day -- he was only 17 the time. He has gone on to record with Alicia Keys and Sheryl Crow, and his songs “Bright Lights” and “Don’t Owe You A Thang” have been featured in movies and a video game. Clark won the Grammy award for Best Traditional R&B performance at the 56th annual Grammy Awards Ceremony for his song “Please Come Home.” He goes on tour this year in support of his latest album, Blak and Blu and tours with Kings of Leon.
