HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD
Following the mold of successful rap/rock bands of the past, Hollywood Undead has carved a unique niche in the contemporary music scene that has lead them to great commercial success. Hollywood Dead's band members all have their own pseudonym and mask tailored to their personalities and currently consists of Charlie Scene, Da Kurlzz, Danny Funny Man, J-Dog and Johnny 3 Tears. The group originated in the Los Angeles as a project between a group of friends and the band saw a series of lineup changes over time. However, by 2007 the band was hard at work finishing up their first album, Swan Songs, and released it on A&M/Octone Records in September 2008 to critical acclaim.

Soon after Swan Songs was released, the album hit No. 22 on the Billboard 200 during its first week and sold more than 20,000 copies. The singles "Undead," "Young" and "No.5" dominated pop and hip-hop charts alike and the band brought a raw and fresh sound that helped to revitalize the genre. Soon after the release of their first album, Hollywood Undead released a CD/DVD box set dubbed Desperate Measures, which featured a series of new tracks and live performances and would climb to No. 29 on the Billboard 200.

In mid-2010, Hollywood Undead went back into the studio to work on their second full-length album, and after significant promotion and touring during the year, the record American Tragedy had serious buzz upon its release. Featuring the singles "Hear Me Now" and "Comin' In Hot," the record would peak at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and hone their sound with a heavy infusion of rock and metal influences. After the success of their second album, Hollywood Undead jumped onto a major touring schedule as headliners of the Revolt Tour, a hugely successful tour in North America along with Drive A, New Medicine and 10 Years.

In late-2011, the band released its first remix album, American Tragedy Redux, featuring a slew of remastered tracks and collaborations that gave fans a different perspective on their second studio release. With their star soaring in the music industry, Hollywood Undead has recently put the finishing touches on their third album, Notes from the Underground, which should drop in January of 2013 and should continue to show the dramatic growth the band has experienced in their rise to stardom.
