The legendary English metal band known as Iron Maiden was formed in Leyton, east London, in 1975. Iron Maiden has released over 38 albums and are considered the pioneers of New Wave British Heavy Metal since their rise to fame in the 1980s and are cited by many other successful musicians as being one of their influences. Their famous mascot, “Eddie” is an undead zombie-like creature which appears on most of their albums and is recognized by metalheads worldwide. The band is best known for their hit metal albums, Number of the Beast in 1982, Piece of Mind in 1983, Powerslave in 1984, Life After Death in 1985, Somewhere in Time in 1986, Seventh Son of a Seventh Son in 1988 and many more. Although the band confirmed that their 2010 release The Final Frontier would be their last album, the band’s sixteen studio album, The Book of Souls, was released in 2015 and was supported by a world tour. The Book of Souls was released in the number one position on the UK album charts and included their lead single, “Speed of Light”, for which they released a hit music video.

Iron Maiden’s The Book of Souls World Tour - 2017
In 2015 to 2016, Iron Maiden embarked upon The Book of Souls World Tour to support their 2015 album with the same name. On The Book of Souls World Tour, Iron Maiden played concerts in 35 countries in North America, South America, Asia, Australia, Africa, Europe and the band’s first ever performance in China, El Salvador and Lithuania. During shows on Iron Maiden’s The Book of Souls World Tour, they performed many of their songs from their 2015 studio album, The Book of Souls¸ as well as their fan favorite and classic hit songs, such as “Number of the Beast”, “The Trooper”, “Blood Brothers”, “Brave New World” and many, many more. Iron Maiden performances are characteristic of their metal and guitar shredding performances, animated “Eddie” puppets and visual effects on stage and their fan favorite songs which bring together different generations of fans.
In January, 2017 it was announced that Iron Maiden would be expanding their Book of Souls tour into 2017 and will be touring the US throughout the summer. The 2017 Iron Maiden North American tour kicks off in Bristow, VA in June and hits cities such as Philadelphia, Newark, Charlotte, Nashville, Chicago, Oklahoma City, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Kansas City, St. Louis, and Toronto before coming to an end in Brooklyn in July.
