The 2015 hit "Classic Man" introduced the world to a man who showed everyone how to be classy and trendy at the same time. Meet Jidenna - an American hip-hop musician and producer who has a net worth of $1 million. His look always match his sound: three-piece suits, polka-dotted ascots and neat hair. The musician was born in Wisconsin to a Nigerian father and a Bostonian mother, graduated from Stanford University, and then lived in Los Angeles, Oakland, Atlanta, and Brooklyn.

His major influences include KRS-One, Big Daddy Kane, and, of course, the Nigerian Highlife music genre. The singer is also proud of his personal style, developed in college, where he learned about the power of fashion from one of his professors. In 2010, after the death of his father, Jidenna adopted his signature dandy style. He describes his look as “"heavily inspired by the Harlem Renaissance and traditional West African designs". Jidenna (his full name is Jidenna Theodore Mobisson) started his music career with releasing two singles, "Classic Man" and "Yoga" in 2015, promoting Janelle Monáe's compilation EP The Eephus. The same year, Jidenna also received an award for best new artist at the 2015 Soul Train Music Awards. In 2016, he released the single "Chief Don't Run”. His debut album, The Chief was released on February 17, 2017 and its cover pays homage to Boz Scaggs' Middle Man album. For his first full-length album, the singer and rapper found himself drawn back to his roots: most of his songs are about Nigerian highlife singers and his father, who passed away years ago.
