John Legend Tour Information

In 2011, Legend completed a 50-date tour as a guest for British soul band Sade. The tour started in Baltimore and hit venues such as Nassau Coliseum, TD Garden, Toyota Center and finished at the MGM Grand Arena. Legend began his segment with a gospel-tinged rendition of “Rolling in the Deep,” he made a smooth transition into “Hard Times” from 2010's Wake Up! He worked his magic with his ballads that showcased his powerful voice. The sharply dressed, smooth-singing R&B singer got the attention of his audience and promptly gained more fans.

The 2013 Fall Tour

This 19-city tour will begin in Mashantucket, CT on October 20. Important stops include Boston on October 22, and Washington DC at the DAR Constitution Hall October 23rd. The Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami FL hosts Legend on November 3rd and after a few stops he will be in Austin to perform at the Bass Concert Hall November 6th. The tour will close November 24th in Vancouver BC with the same reverence it started with and you can also expect plenty of singing from the audience. John Legends’ concerts are always tender and sexy, his voice is soothing and his songs are like poetry. After all, his stage name came from the poet, J. Ivy, who proclaimed that John’s voice was old school, sounding like that of the legends, and hence “John Legend” was born.

Set List for John Legend's Fall Tour

Songs you can expect to hear will be “Ordinary People,” “Used To Love U,” “Tonight” (Best You Ever Had), “Green Light” and the unforgettable “I’ve Been Watching You” (Move Your Sexy Body). The Waiting For Superman film version is stylistically different than the Wake Up! version, but only concertgoers will know.
