An American rock band originally formed in 1973, however, over the years the band has made several changes with its members and today the band consist of Neal Schon, Ross Valory, Jonathan Cain, Deen Castronovo, and Arnel Pineda. The greatest success was from 1977-1999 with lead singer Steve Perry and albums Infinity, Trial By Fire and Revelation, 1982 and 1983 brought them a number one and number two charted albums, Escape and Frontiers, with singles “Don’t Stop Believin,” “Who’s Crying Now,” “Open Arms” and “Faithfully.” After lead singer Perry left the band in 1998, there were several lead singer changes. In 2007, they found Arnel Pineda on YouTube singing Journey covers and found him to have an uncanny singing resemblance to Perry. They quickly hired Pineda and have toured together since. Journey and Asia 2017 North American Tour
Just last year the band, who are by now getting up in years, (with the exception of Arnel), are still rocking like it was still the 70’s. While many fans are still mourning the lost of lead singer Perry, the “new” Journey is still packing the arenas full. The set list for this tour changed with every venue, keeping all the old and new fans on their feet, losing their voices from singing along to every song. They have the same energy as they always have, and show no signs of stopping. Journey and Asia will hit the road together in 2017. The bands have announced a run of shared shows from March 15 till April 4. Their tour is scheduled to begin in Yakima, Wash., with the last show in the Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio. The tour currently encompasses a dozen concerts including the shows in Spokane, Wash.; Eugene, Ore.; Boise, Idaho; Bozeman, Mt.; Fargo, N.D.; Green Bay, Wis.; Madison, Wis.; Fort Wayne, Ind.; Evansville, Ind.; Moline, Ill.
