This is an American pop duo consisting of Amy Heidemann and Nicholas “Nick” Noonan, who met while attending Berklee College of Music in Boston. They became a dance music sensation with their song, “Brokenhearted” and shortly thereafter, “Hello.” Their original song “Take It Away” was used to promote the 2011 NBA Finals commercials. They got their start by doing covers and released an album in 2011 called Karmin Covers, Vol. I with songs like, “Started From The Bottom” by Drake and “Look At Me Now” by Chris Brown. In 2014, they are expected to release their first studio album, Pulses, a date that has been pushed back many times due to conflicts with their record label. Their 2014 tour will begin without the release of their album, but they are already creating a buzz with the single, “Acapella” and the cover art for the album. The shows will when lead singer/rapper Heidemann and keyboardist, Nick Noonan take the stage, boasting their genre of "swag-pop" “pop-rap” to an audience that is more than willing to listen. On tour, the group utilizes the help of a backing band to help fill out a sound that is often as loud and in-your-face as the lyrics they write, which will be featured on their upcoming debut album, Pulses.
