The British trio consists of Hannah Reid, Dot Major and Dan Rothman and they call Nottingham, England their home. Ried and Rothman met over Facebook and later enlisted Major to play with them. Reid’s ruminating vocals help translate the music she writes into the emotional journey she lived. The trio’s debut EP, Metal and Dust was released in 2013 as well as the debut studio album If You Wait, with “Strong” as the released single. They became popular after posting the song, “Hey Now” on YouTube, which received 2 million views. London Grammar 2014 Tour
This British alternative electric trio hits the U.S. in January in Brooklyn, NY. This will be their first tour in the history of the band and will last for three months. With a 58-city tour locked in across the globe, which includes a sold out 10-date UK tour, London Grammar’s mesmerizing sound and perfect pitch tones will fall upon adoring new ears.
After they leave NY they will head towards the Southwest to Dallas, Texas, followed by Houston on March 17 and 18 at Fitzgerald’s and Granada Theater, respectively. Other top cities hosting will be Las Vegas and the Hard Rock Café on March 22, Seattle and Neumos on March 29, with a quick jaunt to Vancouver, Canada and the Commodore Ballroom on March 31. The tour will continue back east to Chicago at the Metro on April 4 and then close in Washington D.C at the 930 Club on April 14.
