The American pop rock band, Maroon 5, originated in Los Angeles, California in 1998. Then known as Kara’s Flowers, the four member group were all still in High School at the time. Kara’s Flowers consisted of Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael, Mickey Madden, and Ryan Dusick. The four initially released the album The Fourth World in 1998 with Reprise Records. In 2001, with the addition of guitarist James Valentine, the group changed their name to Maroon 5. The band signed to Octane Records shortly after and produced Songs About Jane in 2002, featuring their hit single “Harder to Breathe”, which received plenty of radio air time. Songs About Jane reached number 6 on the Billboard Top 200 chart and Maroon 5 won a Grammy for Best New Artist in 2005. The band toured following the album’s released, producing two live records along the way, titled 1.22.03 Acoustic and Live – Friday the 13th. Maroon 5’s second album, It Won’t Be Soon Before Long was released in 2007. This was their first album to hit number one on Billboard’s Hot 100 with their single “Makes Me Wonder”. In 2010, Maroon 5 released their third studio album Hands All Over, featuring hits such as “Moves Like Jagger”, which also reached the number one spot on Billboard Hot 100. The band’s fourth album, Overexposed, was released in 2012 saw plenty of radio air play, including the single “One More Night”.

Maroon 5 embarked upon the Overexposed Tour and sold out arenas and stadiums across the US. Their fifth studio album was released with Interscope, titled V, debuting at the top of the Billboard charts. From 1998 to 2015, Maroon 5 has sold more than 27 million albums in countries around the world in addition to 48 million singles. Maroon 5 North American Tour 2018

Finally, Maroon 5 announced a 33-date 2018 North American tour in support of their upcoming album Red Pill Blues, released on November 3rd. The Red Pill Blues tour starts May 30th in Tacoma, Washington. After a number of shows in California, Texas and Florida, the band takes a break in July and August and returns to the road in September. The tour will be wrapped up on the East Cost in October with a few shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The band will also play in Tacoma, Oakland, Sacramento, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, New Orleans, Tampa, Ft. Lauderdale, Salt Lake City, Denver, Kansas City, St Louis, Chicago, Milwaukee, Boston, and more.
