An American singer, songwriter, actor and record producer, Miguel Jontel Pimentel started recording music when he was just 13 years old. Raised in Los Angeles, he was always passionate about music and art. After signing to Jive Records in 2007, Miguel released his debut studio album, All I Want Is You, in 2010. The record wasn’t promoted, but it became a sleeper hit and helped Miguel gain attention.
In 2011, Miguel moved to RCA Records and released his second studio album the next year to critical acclaim. In 2015, Miguel released his third studio album, Wildheart. The singer incorporates R&B, hip hop, funk, rock, and electronic elements into his music. Sometimes, he is compared to Prince and Babyface.

The impressive 34-date trek launches February 22nd at the Roseland Theater in Portland, Oregon and wraps on April 12th at the Greek in Berkeley, California. Before the tour, Miguel will also play a couple of shows in Oakland and Phoenix in December. Throughout the War and Leisure tour, Miguel will visit dozens of big cities in the US, including Seattle, Salt Lake City, Aspen, Denver, St. Paul, Milwaukee, Chicago, Cincinnati, Detroit, Cleveland, Albany, New Haven, Providence, Boston, Charlotte, Orlando, Tucson, and more.
War and Leisure follows Miguel's 2015 album Wildheart. Inspired by Bernie Sanders and the 2016 election, War and Leisure is currently singer’s most political album. However, this record is also about choice, personal struggles, and how to stay positive in the middle of it all.
