Born on 22 April 1950, Peter Kenneth Frampton is an English producer, singer, songwriter, musician, guitarist, and multi-instrumentalist. Frampton got his international breakthrough with his album, Frampton Comes Alive! The album sold over 6 million copies in the US. alone. He has released many other major hits and has worked with several artists. These include Matt Cameron, Pearl Jam, David Bowie, Mike McCready, and several others. He is known for his amazing international hits like ‘Show Me the Way’, ‘I’m in You’, ‘Do You Feel Like We Do’, and ‘Baby, I Love Your Way’. Frampton has even appeared as himself in TV shows, such as Family Guy and The Simpsons. By the age of seven, he had self-taught himself the banjolele and by eight, he started taking lessons for piano, guitar, and other classical music. By the age of 12, Frampton joined a band called The Little Ravens, while at 14, he played with The Preachers and The Truebeats, which was produced and managed by The Rolling Stone’s Bill Wyman.
In 1966, Peter Frampton became a member of The Herd, and was a successful child artist. He was the lead singer as well as the guitarist. This got him the title of ‘The Face of 1968’ by Teen Magazine Rave. Frampton went solo after leaving Humble Pie in 1971 after producing four studios and one live album. He produced more albums in between 1972-1975, but his biggest breakthrough came when he received Gold certification by RIAA. This was for his album called Frampton Comes Alive! The album made records by being on the Billboard Top 200 for 97 weeks! It also became the fourth biggest live album during 1977. After a small setback, he made his return in 1986 with Premonition, his new album. He won the Grammy Award for Fingerprints, his release, in 2007, followed by Thank You Mr. Churchill in 2010. In 2014, Frampton was one of the musicians to participate in the event, A Night That Changed America: A Grammy Salute to The Beatles on the 50th anniversary of their first television appearance. In 2014, Peter Frampton released his next album, Hummingbird in a Box.

In 2015 Peter Frampton announced that he would be teaming up with fellow rock icons Cheap Trick for a summer North American Tour. Two of the most beloved groups from the 1970's, Peter Frampton and Cheap Trick are known for packing houses on their own, and the combination of the two bands sent demand for Peter Frampton tickets soaring. Peter Frampton is known for his control of the crowd and often requires fans to put away their cameras and cell phones and focus on him. This creates a very intimate concert viewing experience.
