Robyn Rihanna Fenty, better known as Rihanna was born on the island of Barbados and became a R&B sensation with her hit, “Umbrella in 2007. She has since gone on to produce many mega hits under the R&B sound, but also pop, hip-hop and dance with singles like “Pon De Replay,” “Only Girl In The World” and “Diamonds.” While Rihanna has made her name as a singer, she has also made a name in fashion design, as an actress, and in cosmetics. Her upcoming tour, “Diamonds World Tour” is said to have designer gowns, shoes, lots of choreographed numbers with a little rock-n-roll and a little bit of sexy. “Loud Tour”

Critics alike say this was her best tour to date; it was a two-hour event featuring dry ice, sparklers, plumes of smoke, guitar solos, cannons, moving stages and everything else to make a spectacle. She hit London’s O2 Arena with a record-breaking 10 performances. Other top spots were Brazil, Norway, Ireland, Spain and her home of Barbados. Cee Lo Green made an appearance along with J.Cole and B.o.B. You can see the show at the O2 Arena in London on the “Loud Tour Live at The O2.”

“Diamonds World Tour”

The show has five parts and an encore. She opens with “Mother Mary” in a prayer like state and ends the segment with a provocative Rihanna, it goes to Caribbean, then ballads, she has fun with the audience and then ends the show with “Stay” and “Diamonds.” This world tour will circle back to the US and play at the American Ailines Center in Dallas and the Toyota Center in Houston and end in New Orleans at the New Orleans Arena on November 15, 2013.

Tops spots still to hold this event are Allphones Arena in Sydney, Vector Arena in Auckland, Johannesburg’s FNB Stadium, Abu Dhabi’s du Arena and she will hit her home island of Barbados November 1, 2013. She finishes the tour in the U.S. starting in Denver at the Pepsi Center November 9, 2013 and the final encore will be in New Orleans at the New Orleans Arena on November 15, 2013.
