Famously known as Ringo Star, he was originally Richard Starkey is an English musician and actor was born on July 7, 1940. After the band disbanded in 1970, he started his solo career by releasing singles. His songs made their way to the US number four hit and number one hit.
In 1972, Ringo Starr produced another single, which became his most popular, ‘Back Off Boogaloo’. Ringo Starr has been featured in many documentaries, movies, and has appeared as a television host as well. Rolling Stone gave him the title of the fifth greatest drummer of all time in 2011. He has been inducted in the Hall of Fame as a part of The Beatles in 1988, and as a solo artist in April 2015. This made him one of the 21 performers who have had the opportunity to be inducted more than once. In 2015, he released his 11th studio album, Postcards from Paradise.
