Over the years, Evans has sold about six million records, and her last four albums have been certified Gold, Platinum or multi-Platinum in the country music genre. She has released nine studio albums; her first major hit was in1998 with “No Place That Far” from her album titled the same. Her next two albums, “Real Fine Place” and “Stronger” landed on the number one country music charts with number one hits “A Real Fine Place to Start” and “A Little Bit Stronger.” She is known for “Cheatin’,” “Born To Fly,” “Perfect” and “Suds in the Bucket.” Evans recently married former University of Alabama quarterback Jay Barker and current radio show host, moved to Alabama making a family of 7 kids. With her new life complete, in 2014 she released a new album, “Slow Me Down” with all the lessons that life has shown her. Slow Me Down Tour 2015
Starting in Arizona this April, Evans embarks on her Slow Me Down Tour where she will zigzag across the US. Cities include Shreveport, Santa Rosa, Denver, Fort Worth and Reno, with a stop date in October. Evans likes to challenge herself by having the newest, freshest sound, while staying true to her fans. This tour will showcase her country roots but also show a more confident and powerful Evans. With strong collaborations with Gavin DeGraw (on his hit ‘Not Over You”) and Vince Gill on “Better Off,” Evans still manages to keep it fresh, country and contemporary.
Stronger Tour with Rascal Flats in “Thaw Out 2012”
Evans took the road in 2012 to promote her album, “Stronger” and to tease audiences with her forthcoming album, “Slow Me Down.” Her set doesn’t have fancy props, pyrotechnics or costumes changes; Evans brings her small band and her voice. The tour stretched from California to the New Jersey.
