Sheryl Crow is a prolific singer, songwriter and guitarist. Her solo career began in the early 90s. Since then, she has recorded multiple albums, won nine Grammys, and is still touring nationally. She is currently promoting her album Feels Like Home, which was released on September, 10 2013; her debut album for the Nashville based recording label, Warner Nashville. Tour dates can be found, and Sheryl Crow tickets can be purchased through the links available on her website. Sheryl Crow was born on February 11, 1962 in Kennett, Missouri. She graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Arts in music composition, performance, and education, and has received honorary doctorates from the University of Missouri and Southeast Missouri State University. After college, Sheryl's music career started as an elementary music teacher in Fenton, Missouri. Teaching during the day, and singing in bands on the weekends, Sheryl's career slowly grew during the 80s as she eventually started recording commercial jingles. She transitioned from advertising jingles to touring with Michael Jackson as a backup singer from 1987 to 1989. Along with performances with other high profile artists, her songs were also recorded by artists such as Celine Dion and Tina Turner prior to her first studio album in 1993.

In 1993, Sheryl Crow released her first album, Tuesday Night Music Club. Tuesday Night Music Club contained the singles "Strong Enough" and "Can't Cry Anymore" and won three Grammys in 1995. Crow's second, self titled, studio album was released in 1996. The album Sheryl Crow included the singles "If It Makes You Happy," "A Change Would Do You Good," "Home," and "Everyday is a Winding Road," and won two Grammys. Since then, Sheryl has released six more studio albums, two compilations, and a live album. She has also contributed to numerous soundtracks and appeared on various television shows and movies. Sheryl currently lives in Nashville, Tennessee with her two adopted children. While in Nashville, she has started working with the recording label Warner Nashville. Feels Like Home, her first album under that label, was released on September 10, 2013, is also her first country album. Many of the songs for the album were written in collaboration with other artists. Notably, she worked with Brad Paisley and Chris DuBois on one of the album's tracks "Waterproof Mascara." Sheryl Crow enjoyed working with the community in Nashville which enabled her to balance being a mother while working on the album.
